Baking Afternoon
A popular activity at Nettlestead Care Home is baking, and particular cup-cakes, although there is some suspicion that it was not just for the pleasure of cooking.
Chris Wiseman, one of our activity coordinators, was on hand to help the ladies with ingredients and utensils, but wondered if she had lost the power to count due to the pressure of it all. She needn’t of worried. As her back was turned a few of the more mischievous ladies felt that a little quality control was called for, and had decided to sample their wares before offering them to the other residents and guests.
