Leeds Castle Picnic
Taking advantage of the wonderful weather, six residents and six carers from Nettlestead care home in Bromley enjoyed a wonderful picnic at beautiful Leeds Castle.
Always a popular destination, the setting for the picnic was the castle’s courtyard where some shade could be found for those in need of it.
Kim Thomas, Head of Home, explained, “after lunch we went for a tour of the castle and, never slow to miss an opportunity, with one of our residents even managing to get a kiss from one of the castle staff” Everyone had a wonderful time, returning to the home late afternoon, tired, happy, and wondering when they could go back again.
