We celebrated a special day for Maureen last month surrounded by staff and her daughter, we hope you had a lovely day.

Dining Room Update

After some disappointing setbacks we are officially getting closer and closer to the big reveal. We would like to say a huge “Thank You” again to all our wonderful residents for being understanding and excited just like us for the big finish.

Feedback

We love and appreciate hearing your feedback and reviews and ask if you could spare a few minutes to post a five star review on carehome.co.uk. There is also a bottle of wine for all those who publish their review, we will even provide a straw for the wine!

Visiting/Testing

We are pleased to inform you that following Liam’s email that we are no longer asking for testing when coming into the home but masks are to remain please. We continue to take bookings for you all to come and see your loved ones so we are aware of those coming and going, this can now be more than one person at a time. Please note, we continue to ask that all family members coming into the home continue to sign in using our tablet system.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to either Holly or Katherine.

All staff continue to carry out testing; new government guidelines have stated we can continue to testing twice a week, we will continue to keep you updated.

Residents are now no longer required to test.

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations start at Nettlestead!
Tea, Cakes and sandwiches with Jane from 3pm.

3rd
It’s Bingo time with Chris and Sue from 3pm, prizes to be won!

5th
NETTLESTEAD’S JUBILEE GARDEN TEA PARTY!!
Cakes, Sandwiches, Tea/Coffee and Singers join us from 2pm, we look forward to celebrating with you all – Families welcome. (Poster included at the bottom of newsletter)

6th
Outing – Ruxley Manor trip with Chris and Jane, please put your names down if you would like to join.

7th
Manicures with Chris from 10am.
Ciara joins us from 2pm for some light exercises and meditation.

Santino joins us from 2pm with all the classic hits via his wonderful guitar!

All things flowers! Please join Jane in the lounge for 2pm for some flower arranging to some classical music.

Weather Permitting: Tea, Scones with traditional jam and cream from 4pm in the garden.

Reminiscing with Chris from 10am.
Quizzes with Chris from 2pm, Sue joins us for a game of Bingo. Prizes to be won!

Joe joins us for those classic hits from 3pm. Bring your best dancing shoes and voices.

Ciara joins us from 2pm for some light exercises and meditation.
Flower arranging continued alongside a glass or two of sherry with Jane from 4pm.

22nd
Outing – Drive with Jane to Greenwich Park, please let us know if you would like to come along.

23rd
Hand massages, face masks, nails and relaxing music? It’s Pamper afternoon with Jane from 2pm.

24th
Please join Chris and Sue in the lounge from 2pm for some games of bowls.
Bingo from 4pm with Chris, Prizes to be won.

Outing – Polhill trip with Chris and Jane, please put your names down if you would like to join.

Memory Lane with Jane from 2pm. Please can we ask families to bring in any old photos so we can reminisce together within a group. Thank you.
