Nettlestead Care Home, Bromley

As a family-owned care home in Bromley, with more than thirty years experience, we understand that being small and only caring for people with complimentary needs is the only way to ensure the best quality of life for our clients.

Like any big decision, choosing the right care home is a mixture of the emotional and the practical. On the practical side, you want to know you’ll be safe and secure, and have the right level of individual, professional help you need. But that’s only half the story. It’s just as important you like the look and feel of the place that will be your home.

Of course, we believe we offer exemplary practical care and emotional support. Our resident’s reviews certainly bear this out. But we want to make sure you make the decision that is right for you. That’s why we pride ourselves on taking the time to give you all the information you need. You can either call to talk to one of our empathetic team; our advice is informed and free and we absolutely don’t do the hard sell. Or better still, drop in at any time that suits you and see Nettlestead for yourself. We are very welcoming and, when you visit, you can talk to other residents and their families for an unbiased view.

The services we offer

Being small and specialising in the frail but socially-able elderly allows us to make a real difference by tailoring our service to you as an individual.

We offer three levels of care – click on the icons for more details. Whichever route you choose, we will sit down with you (and your relatives) to create a care and social activity plan that is right for you.

We want to help you to enjoy life rather than take over your life.

These plans are reviewed regularly, if and when your needs change. Once again if you need clarification – call us.

The Nettlestead team

Effective care depends on a highly skilled team, a team committed to developing their skills through continuous improvement. But we believe what really makes the difference is an attitude of personal responsibility to you as an individual.

As a long-standing family run firm this attitude runs through all we do. Not only that, but as we are transitioning to a family-employee partnership, every team member is very motivated to make sure your needs are exactly met.

This website gives you an insight into what we do and the way we think. But we believe the best way we can fully understand you as an individual, and you get to know us, is by talking. So call us on 020 8460 2279. We’ll be happy to help your thinking and, without obligation, share the knowledge we have built up in over 30 years of providing elderly care.

If, as is often the case, you are also considering homecare as an option, we also run an extensive homecare service so we can help you with advice there too.
