December 2018 News
A Warm Welcome
We would like to say a big welcome to Rebecca who has recently joined us as a Care Assistant. We are sure you will join us in giving her a warm welcome and we hope Rebecca will be very happy working amongst the Nettlestead family.
Congratulations
A HUGE congratulations to Holly, Katherine and Lauren who participated in the Memory Walk in aid of Dementia and Alzheimer’s. They raised an amazing £280 for this great cause and the whole event raised a very impressive £170,399 in total. Thank you to all families and staff for all of your generous donations!
Improvements
There is an upcoming new look for Nettlestead staff who are waiting on delivery of their new uniforms. This should be happening very soon so do keep an eye out!
Feedback
We would like to say a special thank you to everyone who took part in the Customer Survey last month. Your feedback is always appreciated and we promise that we do always listen very carefully to any comments or suggestions as to how we might improve.
In fact positive customer reviews and good online ratings increasingly play a key part in helping us come to the attention of potential clients, and so are always valued by us. However, we recognise how valuable your time is so we are offering a bottle of wine to all online reviewers that take the time to share their opinion with us. These can be posted www.carehome.co.uk.
We are still collecting stamps (new/old and UK/overseas) for the Air Ambulance. I am sure we can all get involved and start collecting for this worthy charity. Please do drop them off the next time you pop in for a visit.
We now have our facebook page which we would encourage you all to go on and have a look at and share ‘Nettlestead News’ so if you haven’t already please do go on and like our page!
Activities
Our residents and visitors thoroughly enjoyed the Macmillan Coffee Morning. I think it is fair to say that we all had our fair share of sugar but felt it worth it to support this great cause. Thank you to all who popped in and to those who brought in their beautiful cakes to support this great charity which raised £81.50
