As we bid farewell to March, we hope this month has brought you all joy and that you’ve had the chance to make your dreams come true. Can you believe we’re already four months into the year? Time really does fly! We’re so grateful for all the wonderful memories we’ve all shared so far, and we can’t wait to create even more altogether. With April on the horizon and the skies starting to turn blue, we’re excited for the warm weather, the beauty of spring, and all the fun adventures that await us all. We hope you’re all doing well, and cannot wait to see more good times ahead!

Please note our Hairdresser; Steve joins us every Wednesday for haircuts/blow dry and restyling.

Activities for April 2025:

Tuesday 1st April – Start the month off right with Slow Yoga with Ciara, easing into the day with gentle movements. In the afternoon, take a trip down Memory Lane as we reminisce with old photos and create Beautiful Scrapbooks with Jane.

Wednesday 2nd April -Treat yourself to a Relaxing Makeover Day! Steve will be here to offer a variety of Haircuts and Styles, followed by a Pampering Manicure Session with Jane in the afternoon.

Thursday 3rd April – Day Trip Alert! We’re off to Tudor Barn for a Lovely Walk and Afternoon Tea with Jane. Fingers crossed for good weather!

Friday 4th April – Bingo Bonanza! Join Chris & Sue for a Lively Prize Bingo Session, where plenty of goodies are up for grabs.

Saturday 5th April – Cheese & Wine Night! Indulge in a Delicious Cheese and Biscuit Platter, perfectly paired with Wine while singing along to our Favourite Tunes.

Sunday 6th April – Movie & Munchies! Relax with a cosy Movie Day, complete with Popcorn and Hot Chocolate. And, of course, a Homemade Sunday Roast for lunch.

Monday 7th April – Green Thumbs Unite! Join Jane in the garden for an afternoon of Planting and Potting Sunflowers—a perfect way to welcome the warmer weather.

Tuesday 8th April – Mind & Body Boost! Ease into the day with Slow Yoga with Ciara, followed by a fun-packed afternoon of Games and Quizzes—with prizes to be won!

Wednesday 9th April – Midweek Treat! Enjoy a Homemade Roast Lunch (because roasts aren’t just for Sundays!), then indulge in Haircuts and Styling with Steve, followed by Games and Quizzes in the afternoon.

Thursday 10th April – Another Adventure! We’re heading to Well Hall Pleasaunce Park for a Scenic Walk, and afternoon Tea with Jane. Fingers crossed for sunshine!

Friday 11th April – Relax & Rejuvenate! Start the day with Slow Yoga, followed by a Soothing Nail Care and Hand Massage Session with Jane.

Saturday 12th April – Game On! Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon of Traditional Board Games and Quizzes with Rozelin, all while enjoying some of our Favourite Music.

Sunday 13th April – Relaxing Sunday! Kick back with a Homemade Sunday Roast, then top it off with a Baileys Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows—pure bliss!

Monday 14th April – Easter Prep! Let’s get creative with Arts & Crafts, making beautiful Easter Decorations. Of course, no craft session is complete without Nibbles & Tipples to keep us going!

Tuesday 15th April – Wellness Tuesday! Start your morning with Slow Yoga, then enjoy a peaceful afternoon reading our favourite poems with Jane.

Wednesday 16th April – Self-Care & Fun! Get your Hair Styled and Cut with Steve, followed by a round of Entertaining Games and Quizzes—can you guess the ‘Things That Go Together’ and ‘The Price Is Right’?

Thursday 17th April – A Musical Treat! Enjoy a Cheese & Wine afternoon, accompanied by the Wonderful Live Music of Liam, our fabulous singer.

Friday 18th April – Good Friday Celebrations! A relaxing morning with Classical Films, followed by another exciting round of Prize Bingo with Chris & Sue in the afternoon.

Saturday 19th April – Garden Bingo! Soak up the fresh air (and hopefully some sunshine!) with Bingo in the Wonderful Garden with Rozelin, complete with Tea and Scones.

Sunday 20th April – Happy Easter! Feast on a Delicious Sunday Roast, then indulge in Yummy Easter Eggs while watching a movie!

Monday 21st April – Creative Corner! Get stuck into Arts & Crafts with Jane while listening to our Favourite Charts.

Tuesday 22nd April – Feel-Good Tuesday! Start with Slow Yoga to energise the day, then unwind with a Glass of Wine while choosing our Favourite Photos for the Nettlestead display.

Wednesday 23rd April – St. George’s Day! Celebrate with a full Pamper Day featuring Haircuts and Styling with Steve, followed by Games, Quizzes, and a Delicious Platter of Treats.

Thursday 24th April – Throwback Tunes! Take a musical journey through Top Hits from Every Generation—singing along is highly encouraged!

Friday 25th April – Bingo Time Again! Another round of Prize Bingo with Chris & Sue—who will be the lucky winners this time?

Saturday 26th April – Trivia & Puzzles! Test your knowledge with Trivia Quizzes and Puzzles with Rozelin in the afternoon.

Sunday 27th April – Chill & Indulge! Enjoy a Classic Film, sip on a Baileys Hot Chocolate, and tuck into a Delicious Sunday Roast for lunch.

Monday 28th April – Scenic Adventure! Weather permitting, we’re off on a Scenic Car Trip with Jane—destination to be decided!

Tuesday 29th April – Tasty Tuesday! Wake up with Slow Yoga, then in the afternoon, relax with Italian Snacks and Wine, paired perfectly with a Great Classic Film.

Wednesday 30th April – Pamper & Indulge! End the month on a high with a Hair & Manicure Pamper Day with Steve and Jane, along with a Delicious Roast Lunch.
