A warm welcome to December, the month of festive cheer. Please take care and prepare for the chilly, unpredictable weather we are sure to experience.

November was packed with entertainment, love and laughter and we intend to create much more this month.

As always, we welcome friends and family to join us for Christmas Lunch or Boxing Day Lunch but please let us know if you wish to join us and please tell us if you have any dietary requirements.

Activities for December 2023:

Please note our Hairdresser Steve Joins us every Wednesday for haircuts/blow dry and restyling

Friday 1st December – Music filled day as we will have live entertainment and a skilled violinist will be part of the performance.

Saturday 2nd December –  Residents will engage in lively and educational activities alongside Bella!

Sunday 3rd December – Fun and memories to be made in our amazing Activity Corner.

Monday 4th December – Indulging in the Festive Spirit of Cookie and Pear Day by creating scrumptious afternoon cookies during our baking session!

Tuesday 5th December – Unwinding with the soothing practice of Slow Yoga followed by an enriching trip to Ruxley Manor!

Wednesday 6th December –  Live Entertainment as Santino takes the stage to serenade our lovely residents at 3pm.

Thursday 7th December  – Venturing out in the afternoon for a delightful stop off for tea and cake!

Friday 8th December – Chris and Sue join us for a great round of Bingo with exciting prizes up for grabs!

Saturday 9th December – Spending the afternoon with Bella, engaging in arts and crafts activities!

Sunday 10th December – Fun & Creativity in Activity Corner.

Monday 11th December– We all join together to celebrate our wonderful Jeanne’s Birthday along with Matt Munroe joining us for a lovely sing-song

Tuesday 12th December – An exhilarating live entertainment session as Santino graces us with his presence and wonderful voice!

Wednesday 13th December – Enchanting trip out to see the beautiful Christmas lights.

Thursday 14th December – We are venturing out for a lovely trip to Polhill!

Friday 15th December – Dynamic performance to be held by the Newstead Singers in an enjoyable live session from 2:30 – 3:30PM!

Saturday 16th December – Join us for the festive celebrations! All are welcome at our Christmas Party featuring lively entertainment with Caroline, captivating us with traditional Christmas songs and an exciting visit from Santa himself!

Sunday 17th December – Our wonderful Residents will be participating in Activity Corner, enhancing their minds and honing their skills.

Monday 18th December -An exciting Outing to divulge in delicious tea and cake!

Tuesday 19th December -Relaxing Slow Yoga session followed by another thrilling adventure to Greenwich Park!

Wednesday 20th December – An ultimate Relaxation and Pamper Day rejuvenating in massages, manicures and pedicures followed by live entertainment with a talented Saxophonist!

Thursday 21st December – Continuing our Relaxation and Pamper Day with more manicures and pedicures in the afternoon.

Friday 22nd December – A thrilling afternoon to be had for all with Chris and Sue, filled with laughter and lots of fun!

Saturday 23rd December – Santa comes to Nettlestead for a visit!

Sunday 24th December – Christmas Eve!       Getting ready to ignite the Festive Vibes and savour the magic of Christmas Eve!

Monday 25th December  – Christmas Day!       Celebrating Christmas with family and friends, coming together for a Festive Lunch with all the trimmings!

Tuesday 26th December – Boxing Day! Winding down for a leisurely afternoon with friends and family, indulging in cocoa, marshmallows and other delights!

Wednesday 27th December -Another fun-filled trip to Greenwich Park!

Thursday 28th December  – Enjoying another wonderful excursion to Polhill!

Friday 29th December – A fun session of  B I N G O! with Chris and Sue!

Saturday 30th December  – More joyous moments with Bella!

Sunday 31st December – Happy New Year! –Ring in the New Year with a celebration of bidding farewell to the old and embracing the new.  Wishing you a joyous new year!
