Goodbye June and Welcome July!

It has been a busy June with celebrations. We celebrated Length of Service for many staff, including 5,10 and 20 Years Service.

We also had an amazing night at the Bromley Care Awards where our very own Donna and Chris were amongst 21 finalists. Everyone was a winner that night.

July promises to be a good month also with beautiful weather, a Peaky Blinders Themed Party (fancy dress encouraged but optional) and several birthdays to celebrate.

Activities for July 2023:

Saturday 1st July – Bellas Afternoon with Games and Puzzles, including One to One Time with the residents!

Sunday 2nd July – Activity Corner!

Monday 3rd July – Craft Afternoon! Let’s get decorating! Also we will be decorating Hats and Beads!

Tuesday 4th July – Slow Yoga with Bernard! It is also Independence Day – Talking Memories of Travels

Wednesday 5th July – National Apple turnover day – Turnover tasters! Along with the amazing Singer Steve!

Thursday 6th July – Joe visits us again to sing! Followed by nice manicures with Jane in the afternoon!

Friday 7th July – Bingo with Chris and Sue!

Saturday 8th July – Summer Party at Nettlestead! Including a Peaky Blinders Theme – Bouncy Castle – face painting – Elvis and Gracie singing live! This CANNOT be missed!

Sunday 9th July – Activity Corner!

Monday 10th July – Visit from Alan at Bromley Parish followed by lovely Pina Coladas and yummy Nibbles in the afternoon!

Tuesday 11th July – Another fun session of Yoga followed by fun quizzes in the afternoon!

Wednesday 12th July – Hair with Steve followed by another pamper session with Jane having manicures and pedicures!

Thursday 13th July – Gardening – What is your favourite thing about gardening?

Friday 14th July – Bingo with Chris and Sue!

Saturday 15th July – Afternoon with Bella!

Sunday 16th July – Activity Corner – let’s get creative!

Monday 17th July – Valan visits us from Bromley Parish followed by a funfilled afternoon of pampering!

Tuesday 18th July – Slow Yoga with Bernard, followed by fun Darts and Ball Games!

Wednesday 19th July – National Hot Dog Day – what are your favourite toppings and why? Followed by another hair session with Steve in the afternoon!

Thursday 20th July –  Ice Cream Soda and Lollipop Day – what will you have?

Friday 21st July – Bingo Time with Chris and Sue!

Saturday 22nd July – Bellas Afternoon!

Sunday 23rd July – Activity Corner!

Monday 24th July – Amelia Earhart Day – Alan comes along from Bromley Parish and another lovely trip out! (weather permitting)

Tuesday 25th July – Another session of Cheese and Wine, lots of selection!

Wednesday 26th July – Hairdressing with Steve followed by tea and scones in the garden!

Thursday 27th July –  A wonderful trip to Well Hall at Victoria Park

Friday 28th July – The Fantastic Liam joining us to have a good sing song again!

Saturday 29th July – Bella’s Afternoon!

Sunday 30th July – Activity Corner!

Sunday 31st July – A Special Visit from Alan at Bromley Parish followed by a trip out chosen by our residents.
