Pub Lunch
With an enviable reputation for food you may wonder why the residents of Nettlestead Care Home enjoy their regular forays to local pubs for a nice lunch.
As one of their number explained, eating in the home is always a pleasure, especially with the complimentary wine, but occasionally a change of scenery is nice, particularly when the home are picking up the bill. Nettlestead is unlike any other home, taking a fully inclusive approach to providing care, including the cost of outings and activities. On this occasion it was a visit to the local pub in their own residents car for some much appreciated fish and chips, and some banter with the locals.
