June is the pearl of summer, shining with warmth and joy

We had a lovely time in May here at Nettlestead. Residents are missing the baby chicks so we have welcomed a new parrot; CoCo to the home, who they all love! We celebrated our lovely Kate’s 90th birthday! We have some exciting things planned for the month ahead and we are so happy that we have started to see some sunshine! Read More >

May: the month of blooming possibilities and renewed hopes.

This month at Nettlestead has been truly wonderful! We’ve had the joy of witnessing our adorable baby chicks hatch and flourish, bringing smiles to both residents and staff alike through plenty of cuddles. As the weather hopefully gets better, we’re looking forward to more fun outings in the sunshine and making the most of the beautiful days ahead.

We also celebrated the birthdays of two lovely ladies here at Nettlestead. With two delicious cakes and a lively rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ led by our wonderful staff, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy. A Fond Farewell – Goodbye Message from Nicola.

This month, I want to welcome you all into the month of March, however, I am also sharing that I will be leaving Nettlestead to be starting a new adventure.

I would like to share my heartfelt thanks for all your wonderful support during my time at Nettlestead, meeting all of you has been truly delightful. While saying goodbye to everybody is extremely difficult, I am leaving Nettlestead with wonderful memories that I will never forget. I wish everybody the best.
