Everyone enjoys fresh-cut flowers but the residents of Nettlestead Care Home enjoy going one-stage further and doing their own flower arranging. Apart from an opportunity for a good chat as each compares their efforts with the other, they also brighten up the residents’ rooms and public areas with the next session always in time to replace those passing their best.

On Saturday 22nd August, Nettlestead hosted the Nightingales annual Summer Party.

With the sun shining, the garden was transformed into a traditional beach scene, complete with seagulls, beach balls and fish & chips. Live music was provided by the Vagas Rat Pack who played a medley of old favourites from Dean Martin to Frank Sinatra. Read More >
