Goodbye October and Hello November! – As the days grow shorter and the nights longer, the cooler weather is upon us.  Remember to take care and wrap up to stay warm.  November, the penultimate month of the year, brings with it a significant array of events.

First, we commemorate Guy Fawkes Night, which marks the failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament.

Goodbye June and Welcome July!

It has been a busy June with celebrations. We celebrated Length of Service for many staff, including 5,10 and 20 Years Service.

We also had an amazing night at the Bromley Care Awards where our very own Donna and Chris were amongst 21 finalists. Everyone was a winner that night.

July promises to be a good month also with beautiful weather, a Peaky Blinders Themed Party (fancy dress encouraged but optional) and several birthdays to celebrate. Read More >

Welcome to June everyone!

Just a little reminder to everyone of our Fundraising Quiz Night that is taking place on Friday 16th June at 7pm. We are fundraising on behalf of the Stroke Association and I look forward to welcoming you to our event.

I held my first residents meeting in May and it was found to be beneficial. I plan for the next one to happen in August, however my door is always open.

On 22nd February, our wonderful resident, Mrs Ira Webber, celebrated her 101st Birthday! It was a pleasure to be able to celebrate with her. Thank you to Ira’s family for providing a cake for all our residents to enjoy and also thank you to our Donna for making one also.

Secondly, we welcomed Mrs Joyce Jobson to Nettlestead in February, who has settled in nicely. Joyce is a leap year baby and celebrated her birthday with us and her family! Read More >
